While most of the nation was somewhat put on pause during the COVID-19 crisis, fraudsters were extremely active, finding creative ways to profit from the pandemic. We saw a spike in suspicious claim activity even early on in the outbreak, and some interesting trends continue. This brief session will explore some industrywide fraud trends we’ve witnessed over the past several months, including: • Fraud activity by line of business • Organized fraud ring activity • Medical provider fraud trends
