The IASIU 2020 Seminar & Expo on Insurance Fraud will be held on September 13-16, 2020 in Dallas, Texas at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. This year celebrates the 36th IASIU Annual Seminar. The seminar brings together the world's leading SIU professionals at the forefront of detecting, investigating and deterring insurance fraud. As the largest seminar in the field, IASIU 2020 offers more than 45 workshops, on topics including auto issues, property issues, medical fraud, major case/ring investigations, technology, worker's compensation and international issues.

Terms: Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the IASIU Conference constitutes an agreement by the registrant to IASIU’s use and distribution of the registrant’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes. Registration also indicates participant’s commitment to abide by the IASIU Code of Conduct.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds, minus a $50 administrative charge, will be given if a written cancellation is received by August 20, 2020. Notice of cancellation must be faxed to the IASIU Office at (414) 359-1671 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Substitutions for a registrant are allowable up to 14 days prior to the first day of the conference or seminar. No-shows will not receive a refund.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Briefing & FAQs
The International Association for Special Investigation Units (IASIU) is closely monitoring the continuing developments pertaining to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We want to assure those who are planning to attend the 2020 Annual Seminar in Dallas, TX that safety and security are our top priorities.
We are continuing to move forward with the planning of the 2020 Annual Seminar and as of now, there is no plan to cancel or postpone the meeting. It is also worth noting that registrations for the meeting are at a good level and continue to grow in line with expectations.
Preventative Measures The IASIU leadership is paying close attention to statements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) and is following the guidelines from these agencies and local health departments. Neither of those bodies recommend cancelling meetings of this nature and IASIU is following the WHO’s recommended planning measures for meetings.
We are also in contact with the Dallas Convention and Visitor’s Bureau regarding any public health warnings for Dallas. We will provide further updates as events warrant.

Are you still planning to have the 2020 Annual Seminar? Yes, the Seminar will take place September 13-16, 2020, as scheduled.
Is IASIU considering streaming any of the 2020 Seminar sessions? Currently, we are not planning to stream sessions.
Can speakers present via video options, such as Skype? The meeting will not have Skype capability. All speakers are required to attend the meeting in Dallas to deliver their presentations.
Will I receive a refund if I don’t want to travel to the meeting? For cancellations, the standard IASIU Annual Seminar cancellation policy applies. Requests for refunds (less a $50 processing fee) will be accepted until August 20, 2020.
Is there a refund policy for exhibitors who can’t travel to the meeting due to a country ban? IASIU will consider all refund requests for booth space on a case-by-case basis if cancellations are due to valid reasons listed above and documentation is provided.
