This presentation will evaluate and build on the February 2019 Hazardous Materials Roundtable Meeting and Report. IAFC's support in this area has been crucial and it's clear from the follow-on efforts that a new emphasis on the importance of LEPC's and the community role in hazardous materials response is crucial. This presentation will expand on the work captured in the report and present ideas and techniques on the process of "risk identification - capability assessment - strategic planning to fill gaps" approach to improved community planning. There will be an emphasis on stakeholders and measurement of success.
