Instructor in Pediatrics
Dr. Catherine Dinauer is an Instructor in Pediatrics and Attending Clinician in Pediatric Endocrinology at Yale School of Medicine. Since 2006, her practice has focused on thyroid disorders in children. She earned her MD at University of Vermont and completed her pediatric residency and and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. She was a member of the American Thyroid Association task force which created the inaugural guidelines for management of thyroid nodules and differentiated thyroid cancer in children published in 2015, and is currently on the task force working to revise the guidelines. She is an Associate Editor for Clinical Thyroidology, contributing reviews on publications in the realm of pediatric thyroidology.
