Assistant Professor of Medicine
Dr. Jad Sfeir is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is the inaugural Kogod Scholar at the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging where he is studying the effects of aging on bone and mechanisms of targeting cell senescence to prevent age-related bone loss. Dr. Sfeir obtained his B.S. and medical degrees from the American University of Beirut. He completed internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA and then joined Mayo Clinic where he completed two fellowship training in Endocrinology and subsequently in Geriatric Medicine. He is the recipient of multiple awards including the Randall G. Sprague Award for excellence in endocrinology and the Young Investigator Award from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
