$30 before Friday, March 13, 2020, and $36 after
On June 22, 1969, a spark set ablaze a blackened coat of oily pollution floating on the Cuyahoga River. It was not the first such river fire. Other cities had seen them before. Cleveland herself had seen them more than a dozen times prior. But this time, the response was different and it changed the country’s future. Join us as we discuss the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District’s role in the rebirth of the Cuyahoga River and its River Reborn outreach campaign, highlighting the 50 years of water quality success since that infamous river fire.
