A whole-plant process simulator was used at the TTSA WRP to evaluate operations, performance, and capacity of existing nutrient removal processes. This case study presents simulation results and demonstrates the front-end effort needed for data collection and reconciliation, model set-up, calibration, and validation to develop a useful, accurate planning tool.
