Often start-up of new equipment and treatment processes is left to those involved in the end of the project construction phase. This process has room for improvement. Get the right people involved at the right time. Listen to ideas to improve start-ups. Otherwise the alliteration "Prior Proper Planing Prevents Poor Performance" may apply to your project.
Participants will understand the importance of O&M participation during project planning before final designs are completed.
Participants will know questions to ask on how start-up will be accomplished.
Participants will know what should be included in a start-up plan, when it should start and who should be involved. This will vary greatly depending on the complexity of the new systems and equipment.
