Practice Area: Operations & Maintenance Electrical & Instrumentation
O & M Growth Leader - West Region Jacobs San Miguel, California
The purpose of this session is to present real-time process control (RTPC) programs and illustrate historical plant performance from four facilities to demonstrate benefits and challenges associated with RTPC programs. Operating data post-RTPC program implementation were analyzed to evaluate changes in operational efficiency and cost savings resulting from RTPCs.
Define the purpose of real time process control programs.
Communicate how real time process control programs for nitrification, denitrification, and solids separation operate.
Recognize cost and energy benefits of implementing real time process controls based on historical data from full scale facility performance.
