Associate Civil Engineer

Kristina has over nine years of experience in civil engineering in both the public and private sectors. She is currently an Associate Engineer in the wastewater department at East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) in Oakland, California. She has played a key role in the Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) Control program at EBMUD through developing, planning, managing, and implementing a regional program to identify, characterize, and quantify sources of I&I in the sanitary sewer collection system. Prior to working at EBMUD she worked as a civil engineer for a geothermal engineering and consulting firm in San Francisco, where she modeled two-phase and single-phase geothermal fluids and designed gathering and injection system pipelines.
Kristina received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from San Jose State University. She is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California and is NASSCO PACP and MACP certified.
