Dr. Kendrick Shunk is an active Interventional Cardiologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He currently serves as Chief of Interventional Cardiology and Director of Catheterization Laboratory Research at San Francisco VA Medical Center where he spearheads a highly successful heart-team approach to treating Veterans in need of Complex/High-risk (CHIP, LM, CTO) and structural (TAVR, Mitral, PVL, LAA) Interventions. Dr. Shunk has served on national committees for ACC, AHA, SCAI and the VA and has had the pleasure of training and/or mentoring numerous emerging opinion leaders across the field.
