Director, Creative Strategy
Naomi brings agency-style strategic creative thinking to the generation of experiential environments, developing innovative event planning and audience engagement tools that elevate attendee experience, driving success for Hargrove's clients.
Naomi’s expertise is in the intersection of spatial experience and strategic message. From the Smithsonian to the King Center, Microsoft and The World Bank to Bloomberg and Motorola, Naomi works with client teams to distill intent into a designed attendee experience, aligned with experience touchpoints, and leads creative teams in the delivery of communicative environments that are moving and memorable. Naomi’s recent creative strategy work includes providing consulting and design management services for the recently opened Many Voices, One Nation exhibit, and design and content development for an American Medicine Exhibit, both at the Smithsonian. She has supported the IFC's identity development and communications campaigns for their newly launched HR Function. Her recent work with Staples and Marriott accounts helped to transform the attendee's educational experiences there.
As an artist, Naomi’s digital media work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest, and the Bauhaus Archiv, Berlin. As an educator, Naomi teaches Exhibit Design at the Corcoran School of the Arts + Design. Her classes include Thesis and Pro- Thesis as well as 'Design for Non-Traditional Venues', where classes team up with a brand or organization to generate engagement concept designs.
Naomi holds a Masters in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a B.A. in Modern American History & Political Science from the University of Sheffield.
