Youth Outreach Manager
Kyra leads the Youth Against Child Trafficking (Y-ACT) program, educating middle and high school youth about the risks of child sexual exploitation, encouraging young people to become activists on the subject. Primarily focused on youth health equity, she has previously worked at non-profits providing comprehensive sexual health education for at risk populations such as LGBTQ, runaway-homeless, and undocumented youth. Combined with her devotion to youth development, she also has a passion for research and applying data analytics to inform health reform. Finding the perfect coalescence between action and research has led her to pursue a career in public health.
Kyra has recently received her B.A in Psychology and Statistics at Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Public Health at the CUNY School of Public Health.
