This session will share the perspectives, principles and practices necessary to build and maintain effective MDTs. The presenter will discuss the following: 1) How to foster and maintain a positive and productive MDT culture, 2) Recognizing the value of the MDT response by respecting the contribution and knowledge of each discipline will help achieve the most optimal outcomes and accountability in these complex cases and 3) How to develop communication practices during and in-between MDT meetings. Lastly there will be a discussion of MDT lessons learned, including a primary case study and how it was handled along with an examination of the challenges and uniqueness of the case. This workshop will only be recorded and available On-Demand from August 10, 2020 until December 31, 2020.
