At some point in your work you will be asked (or told) to go to court because someone has decided that our testimony is essential to the judge in making informed decisions on behalf of children and families. Going to court is often described as the “worst part of my job”. It can be intimidating and overwhelming to have to testify. To be successful, it is essential to be prepared and to understand the process. This workshop will discuss the process and ways child welfare workers, CASA and other professionals can feel more confident in the courtroom. This workshop will only be recorded and available On-Demand from August 10, 2020 until December 31, 2020.
