Assistant District Attorney Dallas County District Attorney's Office
This workshop will discuss the basics of prosecuting cases of domestic sex trafficking involving child victims. The presenters will talk about potential charges, motions to file, issues in jury selection, obstacles that come up during the course of prosecution, and what success might look like. While this is not a case study, it will examine a few different examples of cases that the presenters have prosecuted over the years. They will discuss the merits of a team approach and how that can benefit every aspect of the prosecution.
