Amanda Oder is currently the Vice President of Advocacy and Outreach with the Texas Advocacy Project, a non-profit law firm offering free legal services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. She has been working with survivors for the past ten years in varying roles, such as shelter advocate, program director and policy analyst. These varying positions have brought an invaluable perspective to her statewide work. Amanda has served on statewide task forces, community planning groups, and committees that are centered on ending intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice in 2010.
