Digital Forensic Investigator

Jake Toulomelis is a Digital Forensic Investigator (DFI) with GBI and has been so since February of 2014. His primary responsibilities include performing forensic examinations of computers and other electronic devices and assisting federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations. He has obtained certifications from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists as a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) and has a multitude of additional certifications. He also is certified to perform data extractions on mobile devices using JTAG and Chip-off techniques. Prior to joining GBI, he was employed with the Peachtree City Police Department for 12 years. He served in the Uniformed Patrol Division and as a Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division primarily as a crimes against children investigator.
