This workshop addresses the common trademarks and typologies of the child rapist as well as characteristics and behaviors that this person may exhibit. For many of these individuals their problem is not only the nature or quality of their sex drive of being attracted to children but also the quantity because they must have frequent and repeated sex with children. This workshop will address characteristics and behaviors that make the child more vulnerable. Important strategies about investigating the suspect and the crime scene will be discussed providing the investigator important tools needed for a successful investigation and prosecution. This workshop will only be recorded and available On-Demand from August 10, 2020 until December 31, 2020.
Learning Objectives:
The student will be able to recognize the two broad categories of sex offenders and articulate how the authority rapists fits into these categories.
The student will be able to define the seduction process. The student will engage with the instructor on how offenders manipulate children.
The students will learn from the instructor the common trademarks of an Authority Rapist. The student will learn about victim characteristics. The student will be able to identify both Authority Rapist and victim characteristics.
The student will identify and define offender behavior. The student will gain knowledge that can assist in better understanding the crime, which will give the student a better investigation that will lead to arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator.
