Course Description: Whet your appetite to provide a higher level of surgical expertise to your patients and clients. This course is designed for general practitioners who wish to take their skills further. Interactive lectures including clinical case discussions introduce laboratory procedures and provide a context for perioperative management. Participants enjoy ample opportunity to practice procedures on both canine and feline cadavers with one-on-one guidance from ACVS-certified instructors. Topics to be explored include thoracic trauma, GDV with necrosis, obstructive biliary disease, salivary mucocele, and urinary obstruction.
