This CE is designed to help the veterinary practitioner and technician develop a level of comfort with the rabbit
patient. Participants will be presented with a comprehensive overview of rabbit medicine and surgery, including
basic anatomy and physiology, emergency and critical care, anesthesiology, common diseases, and basic surgical
procedures. Participants will also be invited to reflect on, and discuss, management strategies regarding the
implementation of this new service. The CE program also provides hands-on practice to help the veterinary
practitioner and technician hone their clinical skills with the rabbit patient. At the end of the CE program,
participants will develop of level of comfort with, and have a better understanding of, basic rabbit medicine and
There is no testing involved in the seminar. Question and answer periods are incorporated into the lecture, and
attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the speaker upon completion of the lecture.
