UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center
Justin Shaya, Hematology/Oncology Fellow, UC San DIego Moores Cancer
I am currently a second year hematology/oncology fellow at UC San Diego where I focus my clinical and research time in GU malignancies under the mentorship of Dr. Rana McKay. My research interests include the use of genomics including plasma cell free DNA and tissue NGS to better understand the prognostic significance of genomic alterations in mCRPC and the use of this genomic data to develop novel targeted therapies in mCRPC. I am additionally interested in the development of targeted therapies in early prostate cancer, particularly in high risk localized subgroups in both the neoadjuvant and adjuvant setting.
