Dr. Lynch is a Clinical Research Scientist and Investigator at the Veterans Healthcare Administration (VA). Her work focuses on analyzing clinical translation of precision medicine and health equity. Dr. Lynch is an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Boston School of Nursing & Health Sciences. She is trained in oncology nursing, clinical genetics, clinical trials, and health services research. She works for two VA national program offices in Salt Lake City, Utah: VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) and Genomic Medicine Services (GMS). VINCI is an informatics resource center and the gateway to national electronic health record (EHR) data. GMS is a national clinical operations program that provides genetic services to 95 VA medical centers (VAMCs). Dr. Lynch has dozens of publications that analyze the genetic underpinnings of disease risk and patient access to precision medicine innovation. Dr. Lynch has an active research program funded by several public and private organizations, including: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Disease Control (CDC), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), VA, Astellas, Astra Zeneca, CardioDx, Celgene, Genomic Health, Jansen, and Myriad.
