Delivering on What's Next
Workshops (T21 - T22)
Presentation Description: Structured system management (SSM) is a new toolset for Quality, and one that provides a number of surprising benefits. Early adopters are finding that it provides a universal first tool for work flow improvement and the use of lean problem solving tools. Structured system management also provides a basis for development and deployment of quality-based workflows within the span of control of every manager and supervisor in an organization, and for the alignment of processes and systems overall. The framework and practice of SSM is defining the next frontier of Continuous Quality Improvement. The presenter will provide the intellectual and professional background for SSM, and will demonstrate several examples of its recent use. He will also provide a discussion of its practiced application, in a manner that participants will be able to immediately apply.
