Dr. Patrick C. Hardigan is Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the Health Professions Division, Executive Dean of Research in the College of Allopathic Medicine, and interim director of the Cell Therapy Institute at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Hardigan earned both his masters and doctoral degrees at the University of Wyoming. He began his career as a faculty member in 1997 at the University of Wyoming’s College of Pharmacy, where he earned awards for his research and teaching. He moved to Nova Southeastern University in 1999 as associate professor, advancing to full professor in 2003.
His research has focused on psychometrics, survey research, and the use of predictive technology in population health. He is the author or coauthor of more than 200 scientific papers and abstracts, has mentored 5 successful doctoral candidates, trained over 60 dental and medical residents, and has created two population health and data science companies.
Nationally, he has served as President for the Association for Behavioral Sciences and Medical Education. He is a member of the American Statistical Association, the American Educational Research Association, and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Dr. Hardigan is married to Pamela Hardigan, a pre-school teacher, and they have two children.
