Lyndsey Beets is a Lean Process Improvement Facilitator at Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), one of the 10 largest Medicaid health plans in the nation and the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid plan in the United States. In this role, Lyndsey serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, promoting critical thinking and problem solving to leaders and team members at all levels, using A3 thinking and Lean methodology. With her influence, Lyndsey has supported and guided innovative thinkers in Care Management, Provider Service Call Center and Quality Systems, where currently, teams are working toward improving the way they do business, building in quality and timeliness.
Co-creator of “Lean Fundamentals”, a program designed to get leaders and team members talking about problems and solving them at the right level, Ms. Beets uses her creative mind and background in training and continuous improvement to encourage employees to think differently and with intent, discovering root cause and reasons why.
As a Business Economics graduate from the University of California, Riverside, with professional certificates in both Technical Writing and Project Management, Lyndsey has used her education and professional experience to help drive her success in both the credit union and health care industries. Outside of IEHP, Lyndsey is the owner/designer of Blyssful Blooms, a small weddings and events business, serving floral designs and event coordination to brides all over Southern California. While Lyndsey’s career path has varied across industries, one thing has remained constant; Passion for continuous improvement, serving others, and making each day better than it was before.
