Postdoctoral Researcher
Utrecht University
I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Plant Ecophysiology group of Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Here, I also finished my PhD earlier in 2020, when I defended my dissertation on how plant sense, respond and acclimate to flooding stress using the plant hormone ethylene. I currently study what functional processes contribute to low-oxygen stress tolerance in multiple plant species and aim to study flooding tolerance and memory in the future. I have been heavily involved in science outreach and communication and am also an Assistant Features Editor of Plant Physiology.
