Sajina Bhandari is a PhD student in Molecular Plant Sciences program at Washington State University studying oil biosynthesis in plants. She received her undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from Purbanchal University, Nepal. Her research work combines radiolabeling experiments to trace the flux into the pathway as well as transgenics approach to identify the genes involved in the oil biosynthesis in plants producing industrially important fatty acids.
