Dr. Takeshi Yoshihara is a research assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a plant physiologist studying plant movements such as gravitropism, circumnutation, and phototropism. His expertise includes physiological measurement, molecular biology, genetics, and microscopy. His current research focuses on the study of LAZY genes in Arabidopsis thaliana and Zea mays. He hopes to elucidate the mechanism of gravity perception in plants.
