University of California, Riverside
I earned my PhD from the University of Utah in Dr. Leslie Sieburth's lab where I studied the BYPASS gene family and its function in seedling development. I moved on to Duke University where I did my postdoctoral research with Dr. Philip Benfey and partipated in research that contributed to understand the lateral root clock. I am currently at the University of California, Riverside, where my research group investigates how lateral cell polarity is established and maintained and how this polarity informs oriented cell divisions and root development.
