The number of incoming landscape architects is (and has been) on the decline, and I believe it's one reason in particular: the practice isn't evolving with the modern office environment! If landscape architecture firms can embrace and integrate modern office trends such as work-life balance, flexible hours, and remote access, then we can appeal to a broader audience and continue to expand our field of practice.
