Lucia Portman is an Outdoor Recreation Planning Fellow with the National Park Service's Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program and is based out of Seattle, WA. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lucy graduated from Whitman College with a B.A. in Biology. Growing up exploring the creek beds of Appalachia and spending summers in Western Montana sparked Lucy’s interest in complex community-based conservation and land management issues. Prior to moving to Seattle, Lucy worked in Yellowstone National Park with the National Park Service on the Bison Management research team.
