Outdoor Recreation Planner

Carlos Flores, ASLA, is an Outdoor Recreation Planner with the Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) program of the National Park Service in Los Angeles. He is the incoming President of the Southern California Chapter of ASLA, and lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona. He studied Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and Horticulture at UCLA Extension. He enjoys mentoring students and advocating for native gardens, green infrastructure, public space, trails, parks, and outdoor learning environments.
