Michelle's (she/her) design practice brings together backgrounds in horticulture, environmental justice, ecology, and visionary organizing. She has 10+ years of professional experience in the design/construction of landscapes in urban spaces. Michelle is a member of the Design Justice Network and the leadership committee of ASLA Environmental Justice Professional Practice Network. She teaches design at the NY Botanical Garden and curates small-scale gardening workshops that fosters community building. Michalle has a B.S. from the University of Michigan in Natural Resources and Environment and Masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design in Landscape Architecture and City Planning.
