Ken specializes in the design of bicycle and pedestrian friendly, high-performing and barrier-free streetscapes. As Toole Design's Deputy Director of Landscape Architecture, Ken has been instrumental in using public realm design to make vibrant downtowns and streets that are for people and not just for moving cars. Ken transforms streets through effective landscape, improved aesthetics and human scale designs. His undergraduate degree in horticulture, master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Florida, and his decade working in Florida has broadened his landscape knowledge to allows him to participate in projects that utilize techniques that address stormwater and tropical environment issues. He is licensed in FL, VA, MD, SC, OH, and MN.
