Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture

Gabriel is an assistant professor of landscape architecture at the University of Arkansas. Previously, Gabriel was a faculty member at UT Austin and Arizona State University. Gabriel’s studio teaching has focused on service-learning projects developing studies for local planning public agencies of Mexican cities. Gabriel keeps a part-time practice in Mexico as founding partner of LABor Studio, based in Chihuahua City, Mexico. Gabriel is currently developing two long format research projects, one studying the metropolis of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and the other investigating Landscape Architecture in Latin America. Gabriel is an active and two-time Diversity Summit participant of the ASLA.
