Jessica is a Resilience Policy Analyst for the Louisiana Office of Community Development where she largely focuses on the Resettlement of Isle de Jean Charles. She has a background in geography and anthropology with her 2017 dissertation centering on residents' decisions and experiences surrounding migration in three coastal Louisiana parishes. She has been conducting ethnographic-based research in coastal Louisiana for more than eight years.
