Projects within the field of landscape architecture differ in scale and complexity, but they all start with a big idea. In our Design track, practitioners will share tools and methods for innovative design and successful implementation, including performative planting design for climate-vulnerable landscapes, building an equitable project vision through participatory design, and how to advocate for experimental and untested ideas by pushing the boundaries of existing policy. Sessions in this track on Design Day will focus on project execution – including how details come together and how to clearly communicate the design intent through construction documentation.
