Cannabis use is increasing in the US as perceived risk is decreasing, more states are legalizing marijuana, and more forms of THC are available for consumption. This session will cover basic epidemiology and neurobiology, pharmacology and physical effects, and treatment modalities. Key considerations to differential use from a cannabis use disorder will be discussed. We will also touch upon current controversies and data to guide clinicians.
