David Murray is an architect, registered in the province of Alberta and living in Edmonton. He graduated from the University of Toronto in 1969 and started his own firm, David Murray Architect, in 1984. He has developed a specialty in architectural conservation and his projects over the years are almost exclusively municipal or provincial historic sites, protected in Alberta through legislation. He was the heritage consultant for the restoration and adaptive re-use of the Queen Elizabeth II Planetarium, completed earlier in 2020. David has been a member of APT for over 30 years.
