Heritage Consultant
Marilyn Williams Conservation
Marilyn is a heritage management consultant whose services include heritage research and writing, analysis and evaluations, statements of significance, conservation plans and context papers. Her passion is protecting and managing heritage places to create sustainable, flourishing and engaged communities. She completed her M.A. in Conservation Studies at the University of York, England, in 2010 focusing her thesis on heritage management plans for inner city communities. Marilyn is also involved with numerous local heritage initiatives in Calgary.
She brings to her heritage projects the skills, experience and knowledge acquired from her previous engineering background, including project management and teaching. Along with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, she has over twenty years of experience managing complex projects and global multidisciplinary teams.
