Rob Alexander grew up in Canmore, steeped in the history of the Canadian West and in the sights and sounds of a coal mining town. He is a freelance journalist and historian specializing in the history of Canada’s Rocky Mountains. Rob is the author of The History of Canmore. He now lives in Calgary.
