Teaching, research and consultancy for 30 years in the fields of vernacular architecture, historical construction preservation, earthen architecture preservation, and traditional and historical techniques. Author of 20 book chapters and 95 articles in journals and conference proceedings. Full member of International Scientific Committee of Earthen Architecture – ISCEAH of ICOMOS; founder member of Proterra and TerraBrazil networks, coordinator of TerraBrazil network 2016-2017. Chapter President, American and Caribbean Chapter (LAAC) of the Association for Preservation Technology International (APTI).
