Consequently, the proliferation of numerous different fatty acid supplements has replaced natural sources of bioactive molecules. This session aims to reframe the meaning of a healthy edible oil by redefining the role of its fatty acids profile in maintaining well-being. Presentations on topics such as the health effects of omega-3 and their limitations, dietary supplements based on edible oils, and nutraceuticals between therapy and prevention are welcome.
