Kristie Sigler is a Senior Vice President & Partner at FleishmanHillard Kansas City. Kristie is a seasoned food marketing professional with more than 25 years of marketing strategy experience in both the retail and foodservice spaces. She is the firm’s North American leader for the food, beverage and agribusiness sector, helping clients uncover and translate consumer insights into profitable programs and products, specifically within the food and nutrition industries. She is an active team member providing strategic communications and nutrition strategy support to a wide variety of clients including Corteva Agriscience, the National Pork Board, Norwegian Seafood Council and Abbott Nutrition.
Kristie began her career in the test kitchens of Kraft Foods, Inc., where she supported numerous Kraft brands with culinary support and was instrumental in the creation of annual food and consumer trends presentation. Switching from retail to foodservice, she moved into the restaurant industry as a director of marketing at Applebee’s. Kristie holds a master of management degree, with emphases in marketing and management strategy, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor of science degree in consumer food science from Iowa State University.
