Dr. Xiaoyu Yang has been working on Mass Spectrometry-based Metabolomics and Proteomics at NIST as a computational biologist since 2005. She developed numerous algorithms and software programs for building the NIST Tandem Mass Spectral Library of small molecules and peptides. She also developed various quality control software tools for mass spectral examination.
