My training spans Food Technology and Nutrition, with an MSc in Food Science and Technology, an MSc in Nutritional Medicine, and a PhD in Food Biotechnologies. After two years spent in the R&D of a cosmetic industry, I joined the Nestlé Research Center in 1994. In Nestlé Research, I have taken different responsibilities as Group Leader, Department Head and Network Leader with a high focus on Lipid Research. I have given an important contribution to the scientific content and the business impact of numerous Nestlé R&D projects and research programs in the areas of Lipid Quality, Food Science and Nutrition. I have published more than 66 peer reviewed articles and co-authored 22 patents. Since 1997, I have participated regularly at AOCS Annual Meetings as a speaker, invited speaker, and session chair. From 2017-2019, I have been vice-chair of the Health and Nutrition Division, and now I am the Chair of this Division. I have been recently appointed member of the AOCS Board.
