I finished my undergraduate studies on Food Engineering at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral (Guayaquil, Ecuador). Then, I studied my master's in Industrial Processing at Universidad Politecnica de Cataluna (Barcelona, Spain). I worked in the food industry for several years until I started working as a professor at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral. I was selected as part of the professors to follow a Ph.D. program. I started my Ph.D. program at the University of Saskatchewan in September 2017 under the supervision of Dr. Supratim Ghosh.
