Darren joined Arisdyne Systems, Inc. as the Director of Sales & Business Development – Oils & Fats in April 2016. He is an accomplished engineer and technical sales professional with more than 28 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Arisdyne, Darren worked for Cargill Inc. for more than 10 years at various edible oil plants and in various roles from Project Engineer to Refinery Superintendent. During the next 10 years, Darren held important positions within the Süd-Chemie Group and Clariant Corporation including Regional Industry Group Manager. Most recently, Darren was the Oil & Fats Processing Market Manager for GEA Equipment North America.
Darren has earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University and an M.B.A. in Leadership Development from Brenau University. He has spoken at several conferences including the American Oil Chemist Society (AOCS) Annual Meeting, Euro Fed Lipid Congress, International Oil Mill Superintendents Association (IOMSA) Convention, World Congress on Oils & Fats (WCOF), Fats And Oils International Conference (FOIC), National Biodiesel Conference (NBC), SMART Short Courses, SBOG, various regional U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) Events, and Texas A&M University (TAMU) Edible Oil and Biodiesel Short Courses.
