Yan Ran Tang earned her Bachelor’s degree in Food and Bioproduct science at the University of Saskatchewan with Great Distinction in 2018. As she gained great interest in emulsions technology and utilization of plant proteins during her time as a summer research assistant. She continued her graduate study at the University of Saskatchewan under the supervision of Dr. Supratim Ghosh. Her current work is about structuring canola oil with canola protein with an emulsion templated approach.
